Music For Spinning

If you need some new tunes for your next indoor spin session (or for your next run), then check out The clothing store offers free music downloads from its website each month. This month you can get 21 new songs from up and coming bands. Most of the selection would be considered alt-rock (I think.)

I usually like their free collections and this time it's no exception. On the initial listen, I'd say there are at least 5 songs that are too slow for workouts, but there are several others that'd work great. If I ran with music, these would be the top five:

Lolita by Throw Me the Statue
Woodfriend by Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson
I'm Not Going to Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You by Black Kids
Like It or Not by
Architecture In Helsinki
Taking the Farm War On Drugs

My favorite is Reservoir Park by The DUTCHESS AND THE DUKE, but I don't know if I'd run with it.

So check it out and you might also discover some songs that are great for workouts or for just listening to while you're at the desk. **********************************************************************************

“We are always more anxious to be distinguished for a talent which we do not possess, than to be praised for the fifteen which we do possess.” Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)
